Al-Ahram reports that Qatari club Al-Shamal has reopened negotiations with the management of Egyptian club Al Ahly in recent hours, insisting on their desire to finalize the signing of Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan before the current summer transfer window closes.

The portal reported that negotiations between the two parties have encountered a temporary setback in recent days, causing a delay in finalizing the deal, despite the Qatari club reaching a full agreement with Ben Ramadan regarding his personal terms.

Al Shamal has reopened negotiations in an attempt to reach an agreement with Al Ahly regarding the financial terms and conditions of the player's transfer, especially given Ben Ramadan's desire to pursue a new professional experience in the upcoming season.

According to the portal, Al Ahly's management is currently evaluating the situation in light of Ben Ramadan's commitment to his ongoing contract and his participation in the pre-season camp under the guidance of Hussein Amouta. Club officials are awaiting a new financial offer from Al Shamal in Qatar to determine their final stance, which will depend on the financial compensation presented and the coaching staff's vision regarding the team's future needs.
