Former Zamalek star, Walid Salah Abdel Latif, praised the club's management for successfully obtaining the professional clubs license recently, describing the step as a valuable positive achievement. However, he also expressed concern about the limited preparation time and the delay in the training camp, emphasizing that this setback puts the team in a real predicament ahead of the new football season.

Walid Salah Abdel Latif stated in remarks on the "Number One" program, broadcast on "CBC": "I congratulate Zamalek fans on obtaining the professional club license, as this is one of the positive developments that have occurred recently."

He added: "Zamalek has fallen behind in their preparation period, along with the absence of a head coach so far, in addition to the shortage in the player roster due to the registration ban, which increases the difficulty of the current phase."

He added: "There should have been a coach to lead the preparation period, even if he was from Zamalek, until a foreign coach is officially appointed to take over the responsibility."
