Abdallah El Said: Moataz Gamal Restores Confidence at Zamalek

Abdullah El-Said, the star of Zamalek's first football team, expressed his great happiness after being crowned Best Midfielder at the 2026 Der Giest ceremony, thanking everyone who contributed to the team's success last season.

Abdullah Al-Saeed said in his speech after receiving the award: "I am happy to be here with you at this grand event, and I am delighted to be among many stars and legends on behalf of the Zamalek players. Thank you all for this honor."

The Zamalek star confirmed that last season was exceptional and involved significant effort from all team members, highlighting the influential role played by head coach Moataz Gamal, stating: "It was a great season, and we all moved together. The biggest element in it was Captain Moataz. I want to thank him and congratulate him because he made a huge difference for us since he took over the responsibility."

Abdullah Al-Saeed explained that the psychological aspect was the most significant factor in the team's return to competition, adding: "The most important thing was the psychological role; it had a big impact, helping us overcome the difficult phase and continue the season, with the ambition to achieve something and make the fans happy."
