Tariq El-Sayed: Zamalek's Late Preparation is a Disaster
Tariq El-Sayed, the former star of Zamalek, has expressed his deep concern regarding the current situation within the White Castle, describing the team's delay in starting preparations for the new season as a "real disaster" that threatens the team's upcoming journey.
Tariq El-Sayed stated in a television interview: "The delay of Zamalek Club at the beginning of the preparation period is a disaster. Two months and eight days have passed, and it’s a real crisis facing the club, along with the delay in appointing a new head coach. Only 25 days remain until the start of the Egyptian Premier League."
He added: "Information from inside the club indicates that senior players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the delay in the preparation period so far, and it is not true that the players refused to attend training due to outstanding payments."
He added: "Last season, the players went through the preparation period with delayed payments, and the issues were resolved later.. Abdulwahid Sayed had left his position as the director of football."
Tarik Al-Sayed concluded his statements by saying: "I don't know why a new foreign coach has not been appointed yet. Is the issue related to the football company's file and certain pressures? Normally, the board should have the upper hand."
