Marseille Shows Interest in Real Madrid Defender
Real Madrid is searching for an exit for defender Raul Asensio during the summer transfer window, as he has fallen out of favor with coach José Mourinho, despite being under contract with the club until 2031.
According to "Fichajes", French club Marseille has shown interest in signing Asensio, but they prefer to complete the deal on a one-year loan, with a mandatory purchase clause set at €15 million.
The source clarified that the activation of the purchase clause will be linked to the player achieving certain specified goals, such as the number of matches and minutes played during his loan period with the French team.
Asensio, 23, initially did not want to leave Real Madrid, but he may agree to a departure due to his current situation and lack of a place in the coach's plans.
The report indicated that Real Madrid will retain 25% of the value of any future sale of Marco Asensio if he transfers to Marseille on a permanent basis.
Meanwhile, the deal remains unsettled, with no final agreement reached between Real Madrid and Marseille regarding the future of the Spanish defender.
