Mohamed Sherif Stays Firm on Future with Al Ahly

Media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Mohamed Sherif, Al Ahly's striker, refuses to leave the club during the current summer transfer window and is eager for another opportunity with the team.

Ghandour wrote on his Facebook account: "Mohamed Sherif refuses to leave Al Ahly and is asking for a chance, rejecting a transfer to any club in Egypt for now."

He stated: "He refuses to give up his annual salary, and if he agrees to move, for example, to Al Masry, he must receive the same salary he has at Al Ahly."

These financial and technical conditions place Al Ahly's management in complex scenarios; either to retain the player and give him the required opportunity, or to enter negotiations to settle his contract, a decision that will be made in the coming days before the current summer transfer window closes.
