Como FC has decided to implement a new program in its youth academy aimed at reducing heading, by prohibiting heading for players under the age of 10.

The program aims to protect the health of young players, while gradually and safely teaching heading skills as they progress through age categories.

Retired French defender Raphael Varane, a member of the club's board, contributed to the development of the plan, stating that protecting children from head injuries should be a priority.

This move comes as global attention grows regarding the risks of concussions, with several football associations imposing similar restrictions on training for younger age groups.
