Khalid Al-Ghamdi has left his position as chairman of Al-Ahli Club, having officially submitted his resignation after three years leading the club during a period filled with challenges and achievements.


During Al-Ghamdi's presidency, Al-Ahli achieved the AFC Champions League title, alongside winning the Saudi Super Cup, adding two significant trophies to the club's record in recent years.


Al-Ghamdi confirmed in a statement published on the club's accounts that his experience with Al-Ahli was an exceptional chapter in his career, filled with hard work, pressure, and successes that he cherishes.


The resigned president thanked the board members, the Public Investment Fund, and the club staff, as well as the technical and administrative teams and the supporters' association.


He also dedicated a special message of appreciation to Al Ahly fans, affirming that they have been the club's greatest supporters and have played a fundamental role in the various successes achieved during his presidency.


Al-Ghamdi expressed his confidence in Al-Ahli's ability to continue its successful journey and maintain its position among the top clubs, emphasizing that the club's history and its fans will always be a source of strength.


Khalid Al-Ghamdi concluded his message by bidding farewell to Al-Ahli fans, stating: "Thank you to Al-Ahli and its loyal supporters," at the end of a three-year management period.
