Zamalek Secures License for Champions League Participation

Zamalek Club announced that it has received an official letter from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirming the granting of the continental license, which definitively secures their participation in the upcoming edition of the African Champions League.

Zamalek announced in a statement via its official app "Zamalekawy" that it has received an official notification from CAF after fulfilling all the requirements to obtain the license, which has now been officially approved, to participate in the Champions League for the 2026-2027 season.

The statement clarified that the club received the license after efforts made by the club's board during the past period, to finalize all files related to the African license criteria, ensuring Zamalek's right to participate in continental competitions without any obstacles.

This decision reflects the club's commitment to all the rules and requirements set by the Confederation of African Football, granting the team the green light to begin its journey in the continental tournament.

Zamalek is preparing to announce all arrangements for the new season in the coming period, aiming to compete for the CAF Champions League title.
