Pyramids FC Close to Securing Hamlaoui Deal

Palestinian striker Asad Al-Islam Hamlaoui is close to joining Egyptian side Pyramids FC during the current summer transfer window, following reports from Romanian media indicating that negotiations between the two parties have progressed, with a deal potentially worth up to €5 million.

According to reports, Universitatea Craiova's management is open to selling their top scorer, despite his impressive performances for the team, due to the substantial financial gain they would achieve from the deal, having signed him just a year ago for around one million euros from Slask Wroclaw in Poland.

Hamlaoui began the new season strongly with Craiova, playing a key role in the team's Romanian Supercup triumph, after being one of the essential players in securing the domestic double last season. He also scored two goals in the first leg of the qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League, continuing to affirm his attacking value.

If the deal is completed, Hamlaoui will join his fellow countryman Hamd Hamedan at Pyramids, the Egypt Cup champions, making him one of the team's key reinforcements ahead of the new season. The official announcement remains contingent on the conclusion of negotiations between the two clubs and the agreement on final details.
