Sherif Abdel-Fadil: Imam Ashour is Among Egypt's Best Players Right Now

Sherif Abdel-Fadil, the former star of Egyptian football, praised Imam Ashour, the Al Ahly and Egypt national team star, affirming that the player is one of the best Egyptian players at the moment.

Sherif Abdel Fadil, during his appearance on the "Ya Masaa Al-Anwar" program on MBC Masr 2, stated: "Imam Ashour is one of the best Egyptian players, and we saw when he focused on the pitch, he delivered very strong performances, which has led to an increase in his market value."

He added: "If a strong offer comes in for Imam Ashour, there is no objection to his departure, especially after Trezeguet's exit, which saddened me because he is a club son, and he agreed to reduce his salary because he is from Al Ahly."

Abdel Fadil spoke about Zamalek's coach Moatamed Gamal, saying: "We must thank Moatamed Gamal for the achievement he accomplished last season, as he took charge at a very difficult time and managed to compensate for the absence of key players who were injured, while giving opportunities to young players."
