Valverde: Excited for the New Season and Learning from Mourinho

Real Madrid captain Fede Valverde spoke in an interview with the club's channel, discussing his return to training under coach José Mourinho as preparations for the new season begin.

Valverde stated: "I am very happy to be here for another year at the best club in the world, the club I dreamed of playing for since my childhood. Celebrating my birthday here with my teammates is very special."

The player spoke about working with Mourinho: "I look forward to learning from him and listening to every piece of advice he gives me. I will try to make the most of every minute in training with him and his coaching staff. I want to develop as a player and as a person; he is a special coach and I can learn a lot from him, and I hope it will be a great season."

Regarding being the new captain of the team: "I feel a great pride and a huge honor. I have learned a lot from the leaders who came before me, such as Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Lucas Vazquez, and I will try to apply everything I learned from them both on and off the pitch."

He concluded about his ambitions for the new season: "All we want is to win titles this season, and for Real Madrid fans to be proud of us and enjoy a season full of successes."
