Zamalek Set to Secure African License

Media personality Khaled El Ghandour confirmed that Zamalek is on its way to obtaining the African license, with the club set to receive the license on July 25th to participate in the new season of the CAF Champions League after completing the required procedures.

During his program "Stad Al-Mahwar," Al-Ghandour stated that Zamalek is currently seeking to settle three remaining cases, with player Ibrahim Ndiaye's dues at the forefront. The management has taken concrete steps to resolve the issue by paying part of the amount and agreeing to a payment plan for the remainder, benefiting from the flexibility and initial approval shown by the player to settle the matter in a way that ensures the club meets the necessary conditions to obtain the license.

The club will pay two outstanding installments related to the Juan Bezerra case, alongside signing settlement agreements with the concerned parties and sending them to FIFA for official confirmation. This aims to close these files and remove them from FIFA's electronic system, allowing Zamalek to obtain the African license before the deadline set for July 25.

With these rapid steps, the Zamalek club board is nearing the end of the external legal issues that threatened its continental journey, confirming the club's administrative and technical readiness to compete in the new season of the African championship and to reclaim its glory within the African continent.
