Al Ahly Rejects Karim Fouad's Departure

Media personality Khaled El Ghandour confirmed that Al Ahly's football management rejected the idea of Karim Fouad leaving the team during the current summer transfer window, despite the player's desire to go out on loan for a better chance to participate.

Ghandour explained on his show "Stad Al-Mahwar" that Karim Fouad has been applying pressure recently for a loan agreement, but Al Ahly officials have closed the file for now, given the team's need for his services in the upcoming season.

The desire of Al Ahly to retain the player is driven by the impending departures of duo Ahmed Eid and Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid in the summer transfers; this has led the management and coaching staff to insist on keeping Karim Fouad as one of the flexible solutions and key players for rotation in several positions.

Al Ahly is set to play a friendly match today, Thursday, against Al Nasr at 6 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
