Who is Vuk Razovic, the new Zamalek coach?

Vuk Razovic, the new head coach of Zamalek's first football team, is close to arriving in Cairo to begin his role in leading the club next season.

Vuk Razovic, aged 53, began his sporting career as an international player for the Yugoslav national team. After retiring from playing, he decided to pursue a coaching career, starting his journey as a head coach in 2011.

He took his first step in charge of the Serbian team Teleoptik, then moved in 2012 to coach the Serbian team Partizan, achieving his first success by winning the local league title.

Razovic led another European team, Belarusian Dynamo Minsk, before embarking on a journey in the Arab leagues, starting with Al-Faisaly in Saudi Arabia. He also managed Al-Feiha, where he celebrated winning the King Abdulaziz Cup in 2022.

Coach Razovic is looking to transfer his coaching expertise to Zamalek as the next step in his career, after spending the last contract as a coach in the UAE League with clubs Al Dhafra, Al Wahda, and Ittihad Kalba.
