Saudi Rivalry for Sofyan Amrabat
Al Qadsiah has made an official bid of €20 million to sign Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Turkish side Fenerbahçe during the current summer transfer window.
Turkish reports indicate that Ittihad is also preparing a similar financial offer, aiming to enter the competition strongly and secure the deal in their favor.
Union is looking to bolster their midfield ahead of the upcoming season, while Qadisiyah is striving to enhance their squad with a player who has extensive experience at both European and international levels.
Sofyan Amrabat is ranked among the top defensive midfielders in recent years, having delivered strong performances with the Moroccan national team during the 2022 World Cup.
The Moroccan player had trials with prominent European clubs, including Fiorentina and Manchester United, before moving to Fenerbahçe.
In the coming days, competition is expected to intensify between Al Qadsiah and Al Ittihad, as both clubs are eager to finalize the signing of Amarabat during the summer transfer window.
