Meanwhile, Liverpool's coach has revealed that defender Giovanni Leoni is closer than ever to returning to the team after a long absence due to injury, while Conor Bradley still needs more time to complete his rehabilitation program, alongside Ekitike.

The coach stated in a press conference: "Hugo Ekitike is still far from recovery, and we're talking about an absence that could extend for several months."
