Vicario Leads Juventus Alternatives if Martinez Deal Falls Through

According to Tuttosport, Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is still Juventus' primary target this summer, but the club's management has prepared several alternatives in case the deal falls through, as they seek to secure a first-choice keeper who surpasses Michele Di Gregorio.

According to the report, Guglielmo Vicario is at the top of the alternatives list, having caught Juventus' eye for some time. The goalkeeper is eager to return to Serie A if the opportunity to move to "La Vecchia Signora" arises.

The report indicates that Tottenham Hotspur is open to a loan for Vicario with a purchase option, especially after his ranking in the team's choices has declined. This makes the deal likely to be finalized quickly if Juventus's negotiations with Martínez falter.

Tuttosport confirmed that Juventus management is also monitoring other names in anticipation of any developments in the transfer market, including Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, among other options.
