Al Ahly Extends International Players' Break Until July 30

The coaching staff of Al Ahly, led by Hussein Ammouta, has decided to give international players an additional rest period and extend their recovery time after their participation in the 2026 World Cup.

Al Ahly has revealed the decision of the first team’s coaching staff to extend the break for international players until July 30. They will join the collective training sessions the day after the end of the break, in preparation for traveling to the external training camp.

The team's coaching staff had decided to give the international players a break until July 27, following their participation in the World Cup held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, before ultimately deciding to extend that period.

The statement from Al Ahly read: "The coaching staff of the first football team has decided to extend the break for international players until July 30, after which they will join the training in preparation for the team's external camp."

The coaching staff has decided to grant international players a break until July 27, following their participation in the World Cup held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
