Pyramids Eyeing Shalulile and Maphosa
According to Al-Ahram, Egyptian club Pyramids FC is aiming to sign international striker Peter Shalulile, the former top scorer of South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, to bolster the first team's attack.
Rolani Mokwena, the new head coach of Pyramids FC and former coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, has put forward the name of Peter Shalulile to the Egyptian club's board. This nomination comes as an urgent strategic option in the "Sky Blues" efforts to sign a world-class foreign striker with sufficient continental experience to lead the team's attack in the upcoming season.
Peter Shalulile has experienced his most prolific scoring period under the guidance of South African coach Rulani Mokwena during their time together at Mamelodi Sundowns; Shalulile has established himself as the team's top scorer, netting 32 crucial goals in various competitions played under Mokwena's supervision.
The portal confirmed that another striker has emerged in the nomination circle: Mabasa, the Orlando Pirates forward from South Africa, is being sought as a replacement for Viston Mayeli, the former Pyramids star.
