AFC Delays Kick-off for Al Ittihad vs Al Jazira in Elite Playoff
The Asian Football Confederation has adjusted the date for the match between Saudi Union and Al Jazira, as part of the updated schedule for the elite AFC Champions League playoff.
The match is set to be held on Tuesday, August 11, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
The match will now kick off at 8 PM Mecca time, pushed back from the previously scheduled 7 PM.
The change announced by the Asian Football Confederation is limited to the kickoff time of the match, without affecting the date or the stadium hosting the anticipated encounter.
Union and Al Jazeera are set to clash in search of a ticket to the group stage of the AFC Champions League, marking the beginning of their continental journey in the new season.
The match holds significant importance for both teams, as each side aims to secure qualification and continue their continental competition before the new phase of the Asian tournament begins.
