Al Ahly to Test 3 Defenders in Friendlies Against Al Nassr and Laviina

According to Al-Ahram, Al Ahly's coach Hossam Al-Badry is looking to utilize the upcoming friendly matches against Al Nasr Cairo and Laviina to closely evaluate three defenders in the squad, before making a decision on any new defensive signings in the near future.

According to the portal, Hussein Amouta is planning to give playing opportunities to the defensive trio of Amr El-Gazzar, Hadi Riyad, and Yassine Marai during the friendlies against Al-Nasr and Laviina, with the aim of assessing their performance and making a final decision on their future with the team.

Hossin Amouta is particularly focused on evaluating defender Amr Al-Jazzar, who has been completely absent from participation since joining Al Ahly from Bank Al Ahly in last winter's transfer window. The upcoming friendlies represent an initial opportunity to assess him.

Al Ahly will face Al Nasr in a friendly match next Thursday, July 23, at 6 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

The second friendly match between Al Ahly and Vienna will take place on Thursday, July 30, starting at 6 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
