Abdullah Gomaa, the former Zamalek player, announced that an official ruling has been issued in his favor by the Egyptian Football Association, affirming his full entitlement to receive all his overdue financial dues from the white club, which he had not received before leaving the team.

The 30-year-old player left the walls of Zamalek in 2023 after terminating his contract, before embarking on a short professional stint with Baladiyat El Mahalla in 2024, and is now a free agent without any club.

Abdullah Gomaa stated in remarks via Al Shams Channel: "The Football Association has ruled in my favor regarding my entitlement to receive my dues from Zamalek... I have no issue negotiating with Zamalek to resolve the matter amicably."

He added: "I have closed the file on returning to Zamalek again, and my crisis will end with me getting my rights."

He added: "Ahmed Suleiman promised me he would stay at Zamalek before my contract was terminated, and I was surprised that I was (not at the club). I fell into a state of depression for a year because of the way I left."
