Valencia Denies Bid for Mustafa Shobeir

José Manuel, the sporting director of Valencia CF, has denied making any official offer to sign Al Ahly and Egypt national team goalkeeper Mustafa Shobir during the current summer transfer window.

Manuel stated in exclusive comments to "Stad Al-Mahwar": "We have nothing to say regarding players from other teams, and we only talk about players that belong to our club."

Valencia's management has confirmed: "We have not made an official offer to sign Mustafa Shobeir from Al Ahly and we are not discussing players who are not at Valencia."

Shobir has drawn considerable attention due to his outstanding level with the Egypt national team in the recent 2026 World Cup, especially his famous saves against stars like Lionel Messi.

Scouts from Spanish and English clubs such as Aston Villa, Celta Vigo, and Getafe have started monitoring the player since the friendly match between Egypt and Spain earlier this year.
