Chelsea's management continues to work on strengthening the squad during the summer transfer window, but their ability to make new signings will remain closely tied to selling several players, given the need to comply with financial fair play and financial sustainability rules.

The London club has so far made around £140 million from the sales of Marc Cucurella, Andre Santos, Terique George, and Jamie Jay-Morgan, in addition to the financial compensation paid by Manchester City after hiring Italian coach Enzo Maresca.

Despite these revenues, Chelsea still has a list of players they plan to offload before the transfer market closes on September 1, aiming to generate additional financial liquidity and make room for new signings.

Chelsea's management is striving to boost total sales revenue to over £300 million this summer, aiming to replicate last year's achievements as part of its strategy to achieve financial balance while continuing to rebuild the team.
