Juventus Resumes Talks with Leon Goretzka

Juventus has moved to secure the signing of German midfielder Leon Goretzka, taking advantage of his status as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Bayern Munich.

According to "Football Italia," citing "Calciomercato," Juventus officials have resumed their communications with the player's representatives to discuss contract terms.

The report adds that Goretzka is requesting an annual salary of €7 million, along with a €10 million signing bonus, making the deal expensive despite his free transfer.

The source indicated that the player was close to joining Milan, before negotiations came to a halt after the club's coaching staff changed.

The German international is attracting interest from Chicago Fire, yet he prefers to continue his career in Europe.

Leon Goretzka is among the options being considered by Juventus to bolster their midfield, alongside Franck Kessié, who is demanding an annual salary of €5 million for a three-year contract.
