Deschamps Clarifies Retirement Stance
Didier Deschamps, the former head coach of the French national team, has confirmed that he is not considering retirement following his tenure with Les Bleus, emphasizing his desire to continue his coaching career.
According to "Mundo Deportivo," Deschamps clarified that he has not yet decided on his next destination and will choose the project he deems most suitable, confirming that he still possesses the motivation to carry on.
The newspaper added that the French coach no longer rules out the possibility of managing another national team, after previously rejecting this idea. His name has recently been linked with the possibility of leading the Italian national team.
On the club front, Didier Deschamps prefers to take on a role in France, Italy, or Spain, despite most European clubs advancing in their preparations for the new season.
The French coach revealed that he rejected a substantial financial offer from China during his tenure with the French national team, without closing the door on a potential future experience in the Saudi league.
Didier Deschamps has confirmed that he will decide on his future after a break, stating that he cannot imagine stepping away from coaching or living without a daily goal to pursue.
