Trump Criticizes England's Tactics Against Argentina

U.S. President Donald Trump made striking comments on the sidelines of the preparations for the 2026 World Cup final, appearing alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Trump spoke about England's loss to Argentina by a score of 2-1 in the tournament semi-finals, where the English team initially led 1-0 before retreating and defending with all their lines, giving the Albiceleste a chance to come back into the match.

Trump stated: "England has a fantastic player, I’ve played golf with him before, and he is Harry Kane, he was amazing."

Critics have pointed out the way the English star was utilized in the match: "But I think they made a mistake by making him a defensive player."
