Real Madrid Sets Conditions for Olise Transfer
Spanish journalist Arancha Rodríguez has revealed Real Madrid's position regarding the potential signing of French star Michael Olise during the current summer transfer window.
According to Rodriguez, Real Madrid's management will not officially move to sign Ulysses unless the player publicly declares his wish to leave Bayern Munich. The royal club has received a clear approval from the Bavarian management to allow his transfer.
Real Madrid does not wish to enter into a negotiation battle with Bayern Munich, especially since the relationship between the two clubs is considered strong at the institutional level. This makes the Spanish club cautious in handling this matter.
The journalist noted that completing the deal will not be easy from a financial standpoint either, as Real Madrid will have to sell one of its big stars this summer to create the necessary financial space to sign Ulysse, given the club's policy regarding salary caps and spending on transfers.
This comes despite reports suggesting Oulis' desire to don the Real Madrid shirt, but Bayern Munich's insistence on his continuation makes the transfer complicated for now, with anticipation for any new developments in the coming weeks.
