The coaching staff of Al Ahly received reassuring news about the condition of left-back Zakaria Hossawi, as medical examinations revealed that he is suffering from only a strain in the adductor muscle, with no serious injury present.

Medical reports have indicated that the player requires a short recovery period of several days, before gradually returning to team training during the preparation camp.

Hawsawi exited the friendly match for Al Ahli against Holstein Kiel early, feeling muscle pain that forced him to leave the pitch in the 15th minute of the game.
