Laporta: We Have Alternatives If Alvarez Deal Fails

Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, has confirmed that they are considering all options, including the failure to sign Argentine striker Julian Alvarez, especially given Atletico Madrid's insistence on his continued presence.

Joan Laporta stated: "We sent an offer for Julian, and Atletico will decide. This offer is very good, but it is not valid forever."

Flick and Deco want Julian... but if Atletico doesn't accept, we will work on alternative options.

Laporta concluded that the club has alternatives in case the arrival of Alvarez fails: "There are alternatives if Alvarez does not come, Deco is not stopping and there are several options, and he must choose the most suitable."

Reports have claimed that Barcelona made an offer of €100 million to sign Alvarez, while the Catalan club is preparing to submit a second bid of €120 million in the upcoming period.
