Ali Mahmoud Reveals Details of His Return to Al Ahly

Ali Mahmoud, the new Al Ahly player, expressed his great happiness at joining the team, emphasizing his desire to achieve as many titles as possible with the team in the upcoming period.

Ali Mahmoud stated in comments via Al Ahly's Facebook account: "Playing for Al Ahly was a big dream for me, and returning to my home again is something I still can't believe."

He added: "I am not a stranger to the club, as I spent six years in the youth sector before leaving in 2015, and thank God I am back again. I hope to be a strong addition to the team in the upcoming period."

He added: "When I left Al Ahly, I felt a great sense of disappointment, but my family was my biggest support. They always encouraged me to work hard and stay focused, assuring me that I had the potential to return to the club, which has indeed happened."

The new Al Ahly player spoke about the details of his return, saying: "I received a call from Captain Essam El-Din Serag, who informed me of Al Ahly's desire to sign me. At that moment, I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and I was extremely happy because returning to Al Ahly was my primary goal. I didn't consider any other offers, nor did I think about any financial matters; all I wished for was to wear the Al Ahly jersey again."

He continued: "I feel like I have returned to Al Ahly after gaining experience and building my character and ambitions. Therefore, I strive to create history within this club and achieve all the dreams and accomplishments I have been thinking about since my childhood. Al Ahly cannot be compared to any other club, and that’s why there was nothing more important to me than returning to it."

He pointed out his awareness of the responsibility within the Red Castle, saying: "The player who wears the Al Ahly jersey must be accustomed to the pressures and great responsibilities, so I mentally prepared myself before returning, and I realized that I would face many challenges, and I must deal with them appropriately in all circumstances."
