Ahmad Fattouh of Zamalek Faces Trial
Authorities have referred Zamalek player Ahmed Fattouh to trial after a complaint was filed by a car dealer. The dealer accuses Fattouh of selling him a vehicle despite legal restrictions preventing the transfer of ownership.
A car dealer has filed a complaint accusing Ahmed Fattouh of selling a car for 7.5 million EGP, stating that he agreed to purchase it and paid an advance of 6 million EGP, with the remaining 1.5 million EGP to be paid upon completion of the registration and transfer of ownership.
The complainant added that he was surprised to find that he could not register the vehicle, as it turned out there were debts, fines, and outstanding installments amounting to approximately 10 million Egyptian pounds, which prevented the completion of the ownership transfer procedures.
Ahmed Fattouh represented Egypt in the 2026 World Cup, where the Pharaohs achieved a significant milestone by reaching the Round of 16 before losing to Argentina 3-2.
