FUS Rabat Finalizes Agreement with Rui Almeida to Lead the Team

FUS of Morocco is nearing the announcement of its new coach, having finalized an agreement with Portuguese Rui Almeida to take over the team's management in the upcoming phase, succeeding Spanish Pablo Franco, pending the completion of official procedures and the announcement of the deal.

According to reports, FUS de Rabat officials have reached a final agreement with Rui Almeida regarding all contract details, following a meeting between the two parties last Tuesday, where they agreed on various terms related to the sports project the club intends to implement in the upcoming period.

The source indicated that the management of "MAS" is preparing to officially announce the signing of the Portuguese coach today, Thursday, to oversee the team in preparation for the upcoming football season.

Rui Almeida, who previously managed Hassania Agadir, has been selected as part of FUS Rabat's strategy to reshape the coaching staff and initiate a new technical era following the departure of Spanish coach Pablo Franco, who led the team to their first professional league title in 41 years.

FUS Rabat is preparing for a new challenge on the continental stage next season, having secured its participation in the CAF Champions League following its triumph in the Botola Pro with a total of 59 points, two points ahead of runner-up RS Berkane.
