Rashford Shuts Door on Turkish League Move
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that English star Marcus Rashford has no plans to transfer to Turkey during the current summer transfer window, despite reports linking him with a move to Fenerbahçe.
According to Romano, Rashford will return to participate in the pre-season preparations for the new season with Manchester United, as coach Michael Carrick wants to work with him and assess his role within the team before making any final decision regarding his future.
He added that Marcus Rashford's departure from Manchester United is still a possibility, but it will only happen if a big club makes an offer that meets the ambitions of both the player and the club.
Reports had previously indicated that Fenerbahçe had already begun discussions with Manchester United to try to sign the English striker, but Romano's statements confirm that the player does not consider the Turkish league among his current options.
The English player had played last season on loan at Barcelona, and he delivered a remarkable performance, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists in 49 matches.
