Zamalek Board Divided Over Football Company Disputes
Media personality Amir Hisham revealed the details behind the postponement of the recent Zamalek board meeting, confirming that the absence of several members on Wednesday evening was the main reason for rescheduling the meeting to another date.
In his program "Modern Sports", he added: "The board meeting has been postponed due to the numerous apologies from board members, but the truth is that there is anger among the members of Zamalek's board, specifically Ahmed Suleiman and Hossam El-Mandouh, regarding the percentages related to the football company."
He added: "The meeting was scheduled to discuss some matters related to the football company, the club's shares, and the investors, as well as the date for the general assembly to approve this."
Hisham Nasr, the Vice President of Zamalek, wants to hold the general assembly in the middle of the week (on Monday and Tuesday) to pass the decision and avoid a legal quorum issue regarding the football company file. This is particularly relevant as it is known that it is difficult for 10,000 members to attend in the middle of the week.
