Leeds United Secures Moharimovic Deal for €40 Million
Leeds United has reached an agreement to sign Bosnian defender Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo, in a deal worth €40 million, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Leeds had moved decisively in recent days to finalize the deal, outshining several clubs that showed interest in the 23-year-old defender, following his impressive performances with Sassuolo and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
The deal will bring substantial financial benefits to Juventus, which retains 50% of the resale value of Moharimovic, meaning they will receive around €20 million from the player's transfer to Leeds.
Moharimovic is preparing for his first experience in the Premier League, in a deal that reflects Leeds' desire to bolster their defense ahead of the new season.
