Trezeguet Sends Emotional Message to Fans After Leaving Al Ahly

Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has announced the end of his journey with Al Ahly, sending an emotional farewell message to the fans, following the mutual termination of his contract with the Red Castle after just one season defending the team's colors.

Trezeguet wrote on his official Facebook account: "First of all, thank God, the Lord of the worlds. I was raised here, I grew up here, and I learned the meaning of belonging here. I will never forget that every step I took started from this place."

He added: "Today I leave to embark on a new professional experience, carrying with me the pride of representing this badge, and all the memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. Leaving is not a farewell to Al Ahly, because Al Ahly will always remain a part of my heart, wherever I am."

He continued: "Thank you to the board led by Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, the coaching staff, and my teammates who have been my family both on and off the pitch, and to everyone who works for this great club."

He also dedicated a message to Al Ahly fans, saying: "You are not just supporters; you are the secret behind every victory and the true motivation that drives any player to give more than they have."

He concluded: "Thank you for the love, the chants, and the support in the toughest and most beautiful moments. I will leave, but your love will stay with me in every stadium I play."

Trezeguet is set to embark on a new professional journey in the Saudi Pro League with Riyadh FC, following the mutual termination of his contract with Al Ahly this summer.
