Mourinho Leads First Training Session at Real Madrid

Real Madrid completed their first training session for the 2026-2027 season under the guidance of Portuguese coach José Mourinho at the Real Madrid Sports City.

The session saw the absence of players participating in the 2026 World Cup or those still engaged in international competitions, as the club began preparations with the available squad.

The players underwent routine medical examinations this morning before the first training program of the season commenced.

The session began in the gym before the players moved to the pitch alongside a group of academy players, engaging in activation drills that combined physical work and ball skills.

The training included a series of intensive exercises focused on possession under pressure, as well as finishing drills on a small goal, before concluding with small-sided games on a limited space pitch.

Meanwhile, the trio of Éder Militão, Ferland Mendy, and Rodrygo Goes continue their individual recovery programs, with ongoing medical supervision before fully returning to team training.
