Al Ahly's New Mansoura HQ Aligns with Urban Development Plans

Mamdouh El Khatib, president of Al Ahly, emphasized that the new headquarters in Mansoura aligns with the state's urban development plans, describing the project as a significant step that enhances the club's national and community role. During the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the new Mansoura branch, El Khatib congratulated the national team and its coaching, administrative, and medical staff for their commendable performance in the World Cup, asserting that the team's achievements reflect the importance of investing in sports, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives. He noted that laying the foundation stone for the new Mansoura branch marks a historic milestone, being the first branch of the club outside Cairo, and highlighted its role in serving the Delta region and discovering sports talents to support youth in the provinces. El Khatib reaffirmed his club's commitment to its national and pioneering mission since its establishment, pointing out that the new Mansoura branch represents Al Ahly's first external expansion, adding to its existing locations in Al Gezira, Nasr City, Sheikh Zayed, and New Cairo. He stressed that Al Ahly will continue its role in discovering and nurturing talents, citing Hamza Abdel Karim's transfer to FC Barcelona as an example of the successes achieved by the club's youth sector. El Khatib concluded his statements by emphasizing that Al Ahly is a comprehensive sports and investment system, not just a football club, and confirmed the ongoing work on the new stadium project and the development of facilities across all branches to maximize resources through the club's companies.
