Inter Milan Prepares New Bid for Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones, Liverpool's midfielder, remains a target for Inter Milan during the summer transfer window, as the Italian club considers making a new offer to secure the deal after their initial attempt fell short.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported on his X account that Inter Milan is discussing a new proposal to sign Jones, after Liverpool rejected their first offer of €25 million.
Jacobs noted that Liverpool is determined to keep their player unless they receive an offer of at least €40 million, emphasizing that the English club is waiting to resume official talks regarding the transfer.
He added that Inter's last verbal offer led Liverpool to believe that completing the deal was unlikely at that time, but the Serie A champions continue to explore the possibility of a new bid that could bring negotiations back on track.
Curtis Jones is a product of Liverpool's academy and has been with the team since 2020, making 49 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
