PSG's Key Condition for Signing Ferran Torres
Paris Saint-Germain has established a clear condition to move forward with the signing of Spanish forward Ferran Torres from Barcelona during the summer transfer window, as the French club's actions are linked to the future of their winger Bradley Barcola.
French newspaper "L'Équipe" reported that PSG has explored the possibility of acquiring Ferran Torres in recent weeks, following the player's impressive performances that caught the attention of head coach Luis Enrique and the club's sporting management.
The report added that the deal will only be finalized if Bradley Barcola departs, as his future with PSG remains uncertain after contract renewal talks were temporarily halted due to his participation with the French national team in the 2026 World Cup.
The Parisian club values Barcola at around €150 million, amid interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich in securing his services during the current transfer window, prompting the management to prepare alternatives in case of any developments.
Meanwhile, PSG continues to work on strengthening its squad, aiming to sign Akliouche from Monaco and Yann Deumandi from Leipzig to compensate for the departure of Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan, alongside the anticipated transfer of South Korean Lee Kang-in to Atlético Madrid.
The report confirmed that Ferran Torres is not the only option on the table should Barcola leave, but he is among the top names being considered by Paris Saint-Germain, having scored 16 goals in 33 matches in La Liga last season.
