Al Ahly has entered an advanced stage of its preparations for the upcoming football season, under the guidance of Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, who continues to implement his training program aimed at physically and technically preparing the players, while outlining the technical project he will lead the team with in the coming phase.

The training session held today, Saturday, focused clearly on physical aspects at the beginning, before the coaching staff moved on to a series of technical and tactical exercises, aimed at familiarizing the players with the playing style that Amouta intends to apply with the team next season.

The Moroccan coach also took advantage of the training to hold short sessions with his players, emphasizing the importance of discipline and commitment on the pitch, confirming that respecting technical and organizational instructions is a fundamental pillar since the start of the preparation period.

Al Ahly continues its preparations in the absence of its international players, who are enjoying a break after participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup finals, and they are expected to join training in the coming days in preparation for the scheduled friendly matches before the season begins.

As part of his technical plan, Amouta intends to give opportunities to several youth players during the preparation period to assess their capabilities and readiness, in preparation for the possibility of promoting some of them to the first team.

In parallel with the on-field preparations, the Moroccan coach continues to coordinate with the club management to study the current team lineup, aiming to identify positions that need reinforcement during the summer transfer window, in pursuit of building a squad capable of competing strongly for local and continental titles next season.
