Morocco continues to solidify its presence among the world's elite football teams, achieving a new milestone in the latest FIFA rankings by climbing to sixth place with 1803.99 points. This comes despite their exit from the 2026 World Cup in the quarter-finals after a 2-0 defeat to France.
The rankings saw changes at the top, with France taking the lead after amassing 1948.97 points, benefiting from their impressive performances during the World Cup. Spain moved up to second place with 1934.79 points.
Meanwhile, Argentina dropped to third place with 1925.15 points, amid fierce competition from standout teams in the current World Cup edition.
