Manchester United Pulls Out of Ederson Deal
Reports confirmed by Fabrizio Romano indicate that Manchester United's transfer of Atalanta midfielder Ederson has fallen through, as the English club informed their Italian counterparts of their withdrawal from negotiations and decision not to proceed with the deal.
According to reports, United's decision came after complications arose during the final stages of the transfer, particularly concerning medical examinations, prompting the club's management to halt the contracting process and begin exploring other options to strengthen their midfield.
Manchester United had previously reached a preliminary agreement with Atalanta regarding the transfer fee, and personal terms with the player were also agreed upon, before negotiations stalled in recent days, leading to the English club's withdrawal from the deal.
Following the failure to secure Ederson, Manchester United is now looking into alternative targets in the transfer market, including Roma midfielder Manu Kone, as the club aims to bolster this position ahead of the new season.
