The outlines of Hans Flick's project for the new season are becoming clearer through Barcelona's transfer market activities, reflecting the German coach's desire to build a team based on high pressing and quick transitions, rather than focusing solely on strengthening the defense.

According to Spanish newspaper "Sport," Flick has adhered to a counter-pressing philosophy since taking over at Barcelona, which emphasizes regaining possession quickly after losing the ball, relying on collective commitment and high energy from the players.

The newspaper added that Barcelona's priorities in the transfer market have shifted, moving from searching for a center-back and a traditional striker to signing Anthony Gordon, while negotiations continue for Karim Adeyemi, whose transfer has not yet been officially announced.

It was clarified that both Gordon and Adeyemi fit Flick's requirements, thanks to their speed and ability to press and exploit spaces, elements that the coach believes enhance the defensive system through collective performance.

The same source noted that this direction has reduced the chances of Marcus Rashford's continuation, due to his limited defensive roles, while Barcelona continues its pursuit of a new striker, with Julián Álvarez remaining among their targets.

The Spanish newspaper reported that Adeyemi's potential signing, if completed, could provide Flick with broader attacking options and allow for the possibility of using Lamine Yamal in a deeper midfield role, within an attacking system that relies on continuous movement and positional interchange.
