Hossam Hassan: We Will Do Everything to Make Fans Happy
Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt national team, expressed his immense happiness at the warm reception the "Pharaohs" received upon their arrival at Alamein International Airport today.
In statements to ON Time Sports 1, Hossam Hassan said, "The most important thing is the joy of the people, and I am very proud of this scene. We will do everything we can in the coming period to make the fans happy."
The private plane carrying the national team arrived at Alamein International Airport from Atlanta, USA, after participating in the 2026 World Cup finals.
Among those welcoming the delegation were Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, Samah Hefni, Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed El-Zamalout, Governor of Marsa Matrouh, Mohamed Magdy, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in the House of Representatives, Mohamed Yahya, Chairman of the United Sports Company, and MP Ahmed Diab, Chairman of the Egyptian Clubs Association, along with a large crowd of fans who gathered around Alamein Airport since early morning.
The Egypt national team achieved an unprecedented feat in their fourth World Cup appearance, securing their first-ever victory and advancing to the second round (32), then overcoming Australia to reach the Round of 16 before exiting the competition after a 3-2 loss to Argentina.
