Morten Hjulmand Passes Medical Ahead of Atletico Madrid Move

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand has completed his medical with Atletico Madrid today, paving the way for his transfer to the Spanish club during the current transfer window.

Romano explained that Hjulmand is set to sign a five-year contract with Atletico Madrid after the club reached a final agreement with Sporting Lisbon regarding the deal.

According to details, Atletico Madrid will pay €40 million for the services of the Danish midfielder, along with an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses.

The signing of Hjulmand is aimed at strengthening Atletico Madrid's midfield, following the player's impressive performances with Sporting Lisbon, where he has become one of the standout defensive midfielders in the Portuguese league.
