Atletico Madrid Makes €50 Million Bid for Mason Greenwood

French newspaper 'L'Équipe' has revealed that Atletico Madrid is making a strong move to sign English striker Mason Greenwood from Olympique Marseille, having submitted a €45 million fixed fee offer, along with an additional €5 million in incentives and bonuses.

The Spanish club's offer surpasses that of Fenerbahce, as Atletico seeks to finalize the deal, taking advantage of the player's desire to return to the Spanish capital.

According to 'L'Équipe', Greenwood, who previously lived in Madrid during his loan spell at Getafe, has expressed a wish to return to the city, which could give Atletico an edge in negotiations.

However, the deal remains complicated due to certain financial clauses related to the player's transfer, including third-party rights and commissions tied to the transaction, but Atletico Madrid continues to push for the agreement.
