Haitham Hassan has impressed during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, despite only playing in two matches, attracting attention from various European clubs. According to Daily Record, the release clause in Haitham Hassan's contract with Real Oviedo stands at £10 million, a significant amount as Celtic aims to secure the Egyptian star for just £4 million. Hassan's contract with Real Oviedo includes a release clause that decreased from £16 million to £10 million after the team was relegated from La Liga. Under an agreement made two years ago, his former club Villarreal is entitled to 40% of any future transfer fee.
